In short everyone! Anyone who goes through a course under the appropriate conditions can learn to surf with us. It doesn't matter how old you are or how much you weigh if you want to learn how to kitesurf, you have a place with us.

During the season (November-May) there is wind almost every day starting in the early morning and typically stays for the whole day with an average of 20 knots. Also, this is the dry season in Nicaragua, so there is almost no rain. In most places on the island as well as in most of Nicaragua it is hot during this time of year. Because we enjoy excellent wind, it helps to keep us cool but if not, there is always a refreshing cold beer!

In short - not for those who have taken a course. Without a doubt, kite surfing is an extreme sport that requires training and adherence to the safety rules and laws. Anyone can surf and during our courses we will teach you how to control the kite, avoid dangerous situations and operate the equipment safely.

For most people to surf independently takes 8-12 hours, we offer a variety of packages that match your pace of progress. We will make sure that you leave here with an experience of success and enjoyment of surfing.

A wetsuit is not necessary here, the water is at a pleasant temperature and the air is warm enough to dry you off quickly.

We are located in "Playa Santa cruz" in the center of Ometepe Island. In order to get to the island you need to take a ferry from "SAN JORGE" the length of the ferry is about 50 minutes. After getting off the ferry you can take a taxi/bus that will drop you off at our place.

Ometepe Island is a magical and special island that was created from 2 volcanoes in the middle of Lake Nicaragua, on the island you can enjoy a variety of scenic activities and excursions, like renting a motorcycle and eating delicious local food.
